I have visited Skye in Scotland and obviously Aviemore, Scotland is not very big so it's difficult not to see everything, I loved your poem, which had a definite Celtic feel, I am welsh extraction so the poet flows through the veins of the Celt! Well done, beautifully written, great tribute to the beauty that' personifies Maureen, well done, blessings Roy.

Hi Treischel,
Oh I can't wait to read this to mum, she's sleeping at the moment.
Mum lived in Aviemore for some time in her early teens. I have heard her Celtic stories of Sgathaich too. This is a beauty to read. It is even more powerful knowing that mum so close to death and I mean breaths away from it the nurses told us to then take those moments of final life to find strength to fight through those battles and wake up. For only that was the key to her chance at life.
That has given her the ability to now fight her battles while awake. She is rallying and the doctor is quite amazed and yet he has been in Mum's struggle against cancer for 15 years. She has a long road of of recovery some of it will be a bit brutal and painful yet I know her Celtic warrior strength will again find victory. Your words remind me so mum of her grace and undeniable courage to keep facing cancer and her MS.
This is truly an awesome in so many ways.

Thank you Sandra. I believe she has now come out of her coma. I wrote this before i knew that. If fact, i thought she was about to die.

Thank you so much Ine. I know you have been following and praying for her too. I had to research it to write it, and it is a bit difficult, being steeped in Celtic lore. Thank you for a wonderful review and those encouraging stars.
