Of all the words in your beautiful poem, these are the ones I love the most, have made me sigh, left their imprint on my heart. Excellent.
I know whether she stays earthbound
or if her spirit soars free like an eagle,
her legacy will endure. For as long
as we breathe her name, she

This poem, I noted was inspired by the legacy of a friend Maureen Napier. The first stanza is a description of a stardust shimmering beneath the moonlight. It is a sensitive poem that you feel the touch of a friend in one momentous evening. The beauty of expression reveals the poignancy--the writer expressing so well her feelings for friend Maureen.
I like most the last part, where she says: "Her legacy will endure. For as long as we breathe her name, she will remain forever, timeless." My sincerest congratulations for poem well done. Dom
