This is a free verse poem and not a 5-7-5 and because the poem itself shows tremendous potential I chose to go with a good rating. You do have a typo in this: "When its silver blinf is down" - should this be blind?
If this had been posted as a poem your rating would have been higher. A 5-7-5 is three lines with the first and last lines containing five syllables and the second line containing seven syllables. An example would be as follow:
They cut down the pines
Leaving forest's soul barren
Nestlings neglected
You still have time to fix your entry before judging starts and I hope you do. The example I provided is now copy righted so you cannot use it LOL not that you would for I am sure you can do better. I wish you all the best in the judging and thank you so much for sharing this with me.
