The creepy music caught me off guard. The picture nearly gave me a heart attack. Should I send you my medical bill? Anyway, thanks for giving us non horror fans another reason to become horror fan. In three stanzas the dark mood, the nightmares, the terrors came alive. Everyone has a thing which makes their teeth shake, dentist(pun intended), clowns( which I like, so what's the deal) and Nuns. Especially from people who went to Catholic school in the olden days were angry, frustrated Nuns gave out punishments with the paddle and got off doing it. Sorry, I hope that statement doesn't get me in trouble when I reach the Pearly Gates. I enjoyed reading this. Waiting for more.

Ok...here's one for the creep factor...I was sitting alone in my house, moon still full, all quiet and started reading your poem. When out of nowhere I heard this creepy music. Reluctantly I leave the safety of my little library searching for the music with a little fear. I felt the nun was coming for me! I too went to Catholic school for 8 long terrifying years! Those nuns were indeed creepy! Great job, my friend. I will not be able to sleep tonight! :D

Hahaha. Goodness. I guess you do find nuns creepy if that's the image you have of them!! The Carmelites lived nearby my street when I was a little tyke. Yep, they were kinda creepy to be honest! Should be a contender, well written and rhymed. Let's hope it isn't an all Catholic panel... mikey

Hah-ha, yeah, let's hope not, Mikey. Hey, thanks for the entertaining review, and congrats on winning my Helloween contest. Kiddie Stew was one helluva poem, LOL...

This is excellent, Dean. From grade school through grad school, I was taught by numerous nuns and many times referred to them as demons. I think I may know this Sister Greene. All joking aside, this is really creepy and gave me goose bumps up and down my arms. Nice job. Good luck in the contest.

I know there were many good and very nice once, but my experience was with them was not good. I believe Sister Superior had it out for me from day one. Great poem and yes, very scary.

When my oldest son was born it was at a catholic hospital. They asked if the nunss could come visit me but I said no way. I guess i watched too much Rosemary's Baby. LOL. Great minute poem. The music was especailly creepy. Gretchen

Thanks, Gretchen, I really appreciate the entertaining commenta and six stars.

Yes, Rosemary's baby is one creepy flick, even for me! I wonder how long it will be before it too is subjected to a remake, as the Omen was?

Thanks so much again, my friend. Much obliged! :)

Oh Dean! another masterpiece from the mastermind of the dark side!! Awesome is the only word that works for me as this is such a smooth flowing but still a wham-bang work! Great Job! Vance

Two things come to mind. This reminds me of that game BLOODY MARY which I NEVER played. It also reminds me of a superior nun I used to work for and she terrified me and intimidated me. Her stare would pierce through my Soul. She was just as creepy, dark, and strange as your Sister Greene. I don't think my "nun" was evil but I dared not look into her eyes.

This is indeed very scary or should I say creepy. I agree. From the stories I've heard about the nuns as teachers, they are scary. Once again, you did a wonderful job.

Oh man the last part about how, "She will steal your eyes!" That made my head jerk back from the computer. You have a unique way of bringing someone into a certain world and then making them squirm to find an exit. You know horror. Stan. Great original idea too!
