You said plenty. You wrote a little philosophical senryru. I think most of us have a piece of our puzzles missing now and then. The challenge is to find it. Great poem.

Ironical and provides a chuckle ... I can identify well with this one. Clever and strong word use. I liked the alliteration of "puzzle/piece" and the assonance of soft and hard 'i' . Isn't that the truth? How many of us must feel that way on occasion when things just don't seem to fit. There are days I think my 'puzzle/life' has dropped to the floor and pieces have fallen through the air vent.

... and as we grow older, more and more of the pieces go missing! I'm sure they're just under the couch here somewhere - hold on while I have a look....

This is a great senryu. I like that you used the first line for the irony instead of the last as usual. I love the comparison to a jig saw puzzle with missing pieces.
