This is a wonderful senryu and most appropriate for the prompt.
Love the deprecating self humor. We all can relate to this one.
The image was amazing - perfect for the piece.
Good luck in the contest. This is a strong entry!
Well done.

Love this one. The "pieces missing " concept is so fruitful and perfect for this senryu. I love the illustration with the puzzle piece, too.

Well done! Most of us probably feel that the puzzles isn't complete, but hopefully, we can find the missing pieces before it's too late!

You've made good use of alliteration with puzzle and pieces and my and missing.

I believe this is a good entry for the contest. Good luck! Alana

I like the line: a jigsaw puzzle with a few. Great use of description to create what I saw in my mind as I read your poem. I like the last line as well. Great job capturing yourself. Best of luck.

Well, it is less than 17 syllables, true. And it does follow the short-long-short format as laid out in the contest rules. A uniquely different 2/8/4 format, with a message that many will be able to relate to.

Good luck.

Waoh! Who will find the missing pieces if not you. This is so true of all men and women, but this is personal, only he who feels it knows it. You alone can fix what is not right. Good philosophical muse.

I echo your sentiments;
A well-penned poem complementing the artwork perfectly;
We walk around wanting what we can't have, a small piece of us absent in some way.

Hello author, Very good format, and I loved your senryu humor:

a jigsaw puzzle with a few
pieces missing

(I think we all can relate to that--some of us more than others - lol.)

A fun read. As this is a contest entry, I wish you good luck. LateBloomer

I think that's the way to live, with a little looniness in life to keep you sane.
I love your amusing senryu and the complementary art. Well done!

This rings a bell with me and probably will with others as well. It's well written and follows the criteria of the prompt, and it is nicely presented. Good luck to you, Jeanie Mercer
