This was really confusing for me. I read it a couple of times and couldn't make out if he committed suicide or was murderer ed. Maybe I need to read it again and update this.

Thanks for taking the time to review. Yeah I only had five hundred words to get it all in so this one takes mental leaps by the reader. It's kind of a psych/supernatural vibe, if that helps at all.

Charlie is obviously in the wrong line of work if he doesn't have the stomach to remove his personal feelings from the task at hand. I was worried that he wouldn't go through with it. I don't know why I've just made it sound like I had anything against Frank. I'm sure he was a lovely person. Your story had a good amount of intrigue and was fun to read. Sorry...I can't offer any suggestions to improve it. I thought it was great.

Charlie comes to a point where he identifies with hi victim's so much that he is basically in their head. That's why he is so sad, he feel their despair. Thanks for the awesome review.

Wow, this guy seems to have a conscious despite being a murder for hire, or at least I'm assuming that's what he is. I wonder what ole Frank did to deserve such a fate. You did a great job of bringing the reader into the story without giving up too much information. I hope you do well in this contest.

Thanks Max, for the great review. The knife was to sharpen the pencil, that wrote the note, the poison was only figurative.

Charlie is a sad mess. Assassination by imagination. This is the type of guy that builds things like this in his system then goes postal. This story is high level. I had to read it twice to get the meaning but once I got it I understood. It's scary to think that one may work besides a Charlie.

yes, well this is not at all as way out as some out there might think it is- suicides are being created it is called a trial and it will be a hundred years or more before this technology is openly reported and used, but it is happening NOW and I know some of the suicide victims- well written. don't know if you know how close to the truth you actually are-
