education is very important, especially to third world women. if they were educated, the birthrates would diminish and the earth's carrying capacity would also diminish.
thank you for sharing this social commentary!

An interesting treatise you've written here about attaining an education in today's world, Giovanni. It's rather long but contains a lot of useful information. I'm not sure of your use of the word "Nitch." I wonder if you mean "niche?" I like that you believe that an "education" isn't just what we get when we attend school but a much broader accumulation of experiences, etc.
Well done. Thank you for sharing. Alana

I like this unpretentious pretentious view of education and the willingness to put it out there as if the answer to all the problems of the human condition are resolve therein. Do you mean "nitch" or niche? Just wondered.

Nitch is what I mean as a place, a location, a standing in society & in the world. Education means nothing without the proper attitude of peace & love, etc. thank you for your review. Giovanni

I taught eons ago and your observations are accurate. I enjoyed your description of the value of education in these long, lush quatrains. Here's to our finding our "own Niche" and the "light of wisdom"! Peace- Joan

I agree an education is essential as long as that's the only agenda, meaning that you're out to steer someone into your beliefs, or to rewrite history. Very thought provoking. A bit long. Could be edited, as it would. E a stronger piece that way. Well composed. Les

NICE ESSAY.A BALANCE IN EDUCATION IS TRULY WHAT CAN BRING PEACE.NOT THE ACQUISITION OF MUCH KNOWLEDGE TO OPPRESS OTHERS, BUT THE KNOWLEDGE THAT HUMBLES ONE AS ONE LEARNS MUCH MORE ABOUT LIFE AND IN LEARNING, REALIZES THAT THERE IS STILL A LOT THAT ONE POSSIBLY MAY NEVER KNOW. GOOD JOB!

Beautifully stated.....higher learning...peace is man.....this was like a healing balm to my soul. I am the only one in my family that went to university.....that doesn't mean my siblings aren't educated...just differently...I love the written word..I homeschooled my children..so they would think for themselves...we explored nature everyday...we read volumes of good literature together....they have horse sense...we had horses...they worked hard ...they are the kind of people to look you in the eye and grasp your hand and know their children are loved....
God bless and HAPPY EDUCATION TO YOU

This is an interesting and complex piece of writing. No one would dispute the benefits of a good education, but education does not necessarily bring wisdom. Wisdom comes from experience in the world - education may help us to grow wise but but necessarily. I enjoyed your piece of writing - keep writing. Kine regards Dorothy
