Hi Giovanni---

This is a great message to get that education for success in life, and of spirit as well.

Nicely penned.

Cheers & Blessings

The true attributes of learning and acquiring knowledge - these are all too often lost on the masses, which is why we have so many "educated fools". You challenge the notion of education with this thought provoking commentary. Well done.

Yes you are correct education of only facts without responsibility is like dust blowing in the wind or as my dad used to say pissing in the wind. Educated fools are like manipulated mindless irresponsible tools! Thank you for your review. Giovanni

This is a powerful piece of writing that reminds us that with education comes responsibility. There is always that gap, and it is sometimes a huge one, between knowledge and wisdom. Unfortunately there are many that do not have "reason and intellect for the betterment of the world and all mankind"

No doubt, your poem is very thought-provoking. Because of the format used, I mistook it as a prose piece. Again, this could be due to mindset created by education. In any case, aquiring knowledge per se may not be damaging but a lot depends on how it is used. Knowledge enlightens the mind but left uncontrolled, the mind may play havoc with knowledge. The application of knowledge should always be for the good of the humanity.

Very well written free verse on the value of an education.
A good education is something no one can take away from you. What is inside cannot be taken away!
I like the saying :
"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad."
Well done

, Peace is a man,
peace is an education, peace is learned, accepted, and put into practice.
Peace has no relation to anything worldly .. profound lines. Would that every citizen of this planet would read and memorize these lines.

desiring their own Nitch .. did you coin this term? It might be good to put a note in author notes, this way you will be spared the aggravation of hecklers re. Nitch/Niche

A deep-thinking piece. It feels more like prose - but that's just my humble opinion, of course.

Have a great weekend, Giovanni.

You name so many different kinds of education and learning. Your closing stanza wraps it up nicely--that we gain education every day and are responsible for what we learn and what we do with it.
