I like the free style with measured words and the lovely imagery. Metaphor representing the hidden beauty we often miss is beautiful and poignant. Indeed most of us miss the Unicorns because we are so much engrossed in making the ends meet. I only wish poet had given the glimpse of inspirational source to make it a complete picture-why poet sees her but others don't. This is just my wishful thinking-not a shortcoming of this poem.

Really a 4.5 (I wish there were intermediate rating numbers)

This was nice.
1. The even flow of the free verse style was strong.
2. The contrast between the writers view and the characters blindness to the unicorn made the 'fantasy' quality good. However, I found myself looking for stronger descriptive words to bring the fantasy world into greater clarity.
3. The tension between seeing and not seeing was good as well.
