You brought a tear to my eyes and it wasn't even written for me. I cna't imagine how she must have reacted. The whole poem was beautiful through and through. You are a lucky man, not only because of the woman who entered your life many years ago, but because you can express it and tell her in such a magnificent way. I'm sure a bouquet of flowers and a diamond would pale in comparison to this.

Awww... how very sweeeet. I can see you two have a special thing going, which is very rare. I'm lucky that way, too, with my wonderful hubby. Seems all our old friends are long divorced or unhappily together, but we've got something unbreakable. I see that you do, too, and you've said it verrry well. Happy anniversary to you both. :)

Your wonderfully romantic and special words made me cry!
Excellent meter, though maybe insert 'some' between 'known' and 'heartache' in 2nd line, as I find an un-stressed syllable is missing there.
Very effective repeated lines.
No mush here, just heartfelt and ever-lasting love expressed in perfect poetic lines.
Thank goodness I have just one six left, and you're very deserved and welcome to it.
Bravo! Happy Anniversary, and I wish you both many more happy years ahead.

Thanks so much, Ray, and I'm very grateful to you for the heartfelt review and the wonderful gift of six stars. Keresna has not seen this yet, nor is she aware I have been working on it. Knowing how modest she is, she'll probably be touched by my words (I hope!), but whack me in the arm for posting her picture. She is a beautiful soul, and a lovely lady, both inside as well as out. I've never seen anyone with a heart as big as hers...

Not lately, heh-heh... I hope this helps alleviate those fears a little. I can honestly say that England's own Katie Price could strip nude in front of me, and I would laugh at her. But, Selma Hayeck, well, that is another story entirely, LOL...
