WOnderful! I'm so glad to be reading your stuff again. You're always and inspiration. I just love the "typical" of a writer. (You meet God and you want so much to have a pen and write it all down. In every language. How brilliantly intuitive of you). Keep the inspiration coming.

Comment from Laurie's Legacy
definitely a free verse and a mind dump... Urgency from nowhere? Are you sick or just thinking about where we will all wind up someday? Of course, we won't all have the privilege of time... The picture complements your words quite nicely. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Laurie's Legacy: Thanks so much for reviewing my work and to answer your questions...not sick....just thinking about tomorrow where indeed the privilege of time is only NOW! All the best! HIS GRAYNESS

You are most certainly welcome and I'm glad you're not sick? Just pondering the future?
Comment from Raphael Montonaro
Nice prose about spiritual values. "God is light" goes right back to Dante's seven rings of heaven. This prose fits right in with that idea....Great job!

If I look closely, I see it is poetry: just read it out loud. You have to write is the main message. Also your destiny and about God.

Brother Vance,
I know what you are saying...I think. You ae talking about leaving this earthly body behind and all it's temperary riches for othrs to fight over, and yourself faster than a thought, kneel down befoe our Savior.
Great free verse, my Brother,
Your Friend,
Jerry

Shake hands with love and you'll have shaken hands with god. This is a very interesting piece of poetic art. I think it would read better in Short lines instead of in a paragraph. But that is just my opinion. This is a five star piece of poetry all the way... John
Ps... You write the first word after an ellipse with a capitol letter...

Thanks John for your thoughtful review. I had several reviews that suggested I break this up into short paragraphs and several reviews that commented on the fact that I did not break it up but instead "dumped" it all in one single burst. I called this my "mind dump" and decided not to put it into bite sized thought but rather, exactly as it flowed. I appreciate your comments and thank you for your meaningful review. This was so well done, Vance, that my only regret after having read it is that I don not have any six star ratings left to share with you for it. That being said, you take us on an elemental and insightful journey through the mind here, and you ask a pertinent and age old question asked by so many others who have come before you. Why am I here, what is my ultimate purpose in life? While some seek such answers and never receive them, others thrive and cherish their God given abilities to do what it is they do well...whatever that may be.
This is deep, Vance, deep and meaningful. I truly enjoyed reading it!~Dean
