Hi Dean, I'm reading this one in broad day light (not my usual midnight review) and thoroughly enjoyed the flight, creepy pictures and all. I loved the presentation with the bold wording and structure. Thank you too for the history lesson. I always learn something new from your poem or your notes or both. Well done, my friend.

Blessings
Janet

Supernatural poetry that's a very fine salute to Poe.

Love the Dove! Throw the Crow...a bone of bar-bed steel!! Let the arrow pierce his larynx or rip his heart that's barren.

Yes, fear - that is what empowers messengers of Evil!

Very well done!

Mike

Thanks, Mike, and it always flattering to hear Poe's hallowed named in response to something I've written. I truly appreciate your complimentary review.

Excellent picture to complement your beautiful poem. I did not know that ravens are associated with death. I really enjoyed your poem and all the internal rhyme.

Dean: beautifully written. As I was reading, I kept hearing Poe's raven quoting, "Never more". I believe that with this one, you have definitely reached the level of Poe, but within your own style. Don't forget to breathe, Linda

NICE POEM. I LOVED THE IMAGES A LOT. I DON'T KNOW HOW TO ADD MORE THAN ONE IMAGE. DOES ONE KEEP BROWSING TILL ONE GETS ALL OF THEM AND THEN UPLOAD? HOW DOES ONE DETERMINE THE ARRANGEMENT OF THE PICTURES WITHIN THE POEM?

GREAT JOB! AND YOU ARE RIGHT.BIRDS ARE INSINUATED IN A LOT OF CULTURES TO EITHER SING A DEATH SONG WHICH COULD SERVE AS A PREMONITION OR TAKE THE DEAD SOUL FAR AWAY.I ADMIRE YOUR COURAGE IN PERSONALIZING THIS POEM.

WELL DONE!

I keep seeing this as I scurry around trying to catch up!! I had to peek. Wow. Just wonderful. To enhance something, there has to be something there to enhance and there is the most beautifully written poem that grips right away and doesn't let go. Yes, simple words on a page would be killer as well, but don't they put Van Goghs in cool frames with spotlights on them? Awesome presentation and piece. mikey

I really love this poem for some unknown reason. I like the way you have placed the verses and the way it flows together. It is almost as if it is a poem within a poem. Great work!

The crow is one of the smartest, toughest, most destructive and aggravating birds. Lived around them always-they are remarkable, but supernatural? Nah. Excellent poem.

I was glad that I read the notes. I thought that there was a hint of Edgar Allen Poe in this poem. It has touches of the raven written all over it. This is also a well -crafted piece and one Tha is full of imagery.
