I have many cats myself. They can be a joy and a pain. Depending upon the circumstances. I just wish I could keep them off of my counters. This was a well written short article that I enjoyed reading... John

Those seven cats are very lucky to have a loving soul as yours. They are great company and their meows sometimes seem as serenate. I have two of those.

A couple I knew had 13 cats and claimed that the woman of the couple communicated with them telepathically. As a test of this they suggested I pick one of them and She, without looking at it, would have it go to her. I indicated one of them and she sat staring at the ceiling. Within seconds, the cat got up and went to sit on her lap. I do not believe in such shit, but I watched it occur.

My 39 yr old daughter, who lives in Texas, & I, live so far from her, here in Illinois...She has 7 cats & a puppy, which she just acquired...She has one 17 yr. old son & always wanted more children, though so far, hasn't been able to...So, for her, think her furry friends I think have been like children, too, for her, something that seems to help her out with life, & what it can sometimes do... as she was diagnosed a few years back with full blown rheumatoid arthritis...They help her cope..I enjoyed reading about your family of cats.

What marvellous names you have given your cats! Almost better than the dwarves in The Hobbit! Sorry to hear about your MS. I do so much hope that it is responding to treatment. Your furry friends must help to some extent to take your mind off it.
