There are those whose gift is to bring laughter. Robin, like Lucile Ball and Charley Chaplin can't be replaced, but another will come with his or her own gift. You gave him a great tribute.

Thanks mate and you are of course right! The old saying comes to mind..."no one is indispensable" ha!

Ah, he is so very irreplaceable. We will miss him dearly. He was much too young and talented to die.

Your poem flows nicely with good rhyme. Thank you for saying what we all are feeling, Sankey. Well done. Alana

Hi Alana no worries. We will certainly get out our RW Movies to go for a tour down memory lane again real soon. Geoff.

Will not be replaced...can not be replaced. Only hoping he is not in pain in his new place. I have my theories on that. Suicide is not the last pain he will feel. Sad option.

This is a wonderful poem to honor what his wife called "a beautiful person." Isn't it tragic that a gifted man who made so many so happy could not find joy in his heart? Thank you for sharing this with us, his fans.

Hi JM thee is only one source of Joy and that is knowing our sins are all forgiven and we have a home in Heaven one day. One wonders about the depression and the background his childhood and so on. We will certainly get out some of his movies for a tour down memory lane. Thanks for the great review.

This is a lovely tribute to one of my favorite actors! Really, was there anyone funnier? He did indeed leave his make and I don't think anyone can fill his shoes. I quote Mrs. Doubtfire all the time. Oh, I will miss this man.

Your tribute is just wonderful and I am sure he would be happy

Thanks for that. We are all wondering about the other side of Robin Williams as some have said making folks laugh and all that we wonder about the depression side and his background and all that. We wioll certainly get some Robin Williams movies out for another run.

You are very welcome! I looked back on some of recent pictures and he looked incredibly sad
:(. I never noticed until today. I watched his show The Crazy Ones and he was so over the top but I loved him. Show wasn't great but he was.

This is an excellent tribute to a versatile comedian and actor. He made me laugh and he also made me cry. He is making the whole world cry now. I had a friend and also a cousin who committed suicide due to depression. This brings back their memories. We will not forget any of them.

Thanks friend. We will miss him. Only one thing is even sadder is we don't know where he is now. Not sure he was a believer.

Robin Williams is one of my favorite actors and your words capture his spirit. The line with quirks and impressions is perfect for describing his personality. You say much in few words about this wonderful comedian.

I agree. He will be greatly missed. He often did USO shows for the deployed troop and wouldn't just to the safe areas but went where the action is. Thank you for writing just a great tribute to a great man.

Thanks Barbara he was a character for sure. Wicked sense of humour and all that. Sad he had this underlying thing of depression.

I don't think there will be another comedic genius like Robin WIlliams... his talent, timing, wit and ability to express the full gamut of human emotion was, at times, wonderful, heart-wrenching, breathtakingly uplifting and ALWAYS memorable! R.I.P.
