Great story, Kay! I really enjoyed this one. Wonderful that you could find a painting to go along with it. I'd never heard this legend before, so it is very interesting.

Again you snow me. The description of the Rainbow Serpent is brilliant as well as being charming story of the adventures of two boys with a servant of the Almighty. The only problem is that I have used up my sixes. Yours will have to be a "virtual" six. So very sorry.
I have some bad news too - not health nor relationships. I posted Dance Macabre as a "Revived Poem" from its original posting date in 2012 thinking it would be treated the same as a new post. At present I have received 11 six star new ratings for my poem. I find that none of these will be figured in my average for this year. When I had researched this service I found no information of this limitation in the "information section" for Fanstory - no FAQ relating to it.

Hello Possum, Glad you liked my little story - our dialect would call for "during the dry" as regional dialect. Our speech is very different from American and if I used all of our way of speaking...no American would understand it!! LOL Love, Kay XX

Thank you for reading Roy. God in our culture is Baiame - we worship the land and its creatures are sacred. If we kill for food, we ask the animal first and thank it for it's spirit. Our culture is 60,000 years old. Bless you, Kay.
