This narrative contains a good lesson for children of any age, and even for adults too I suppose. This is pleasant to read and the presentation is great, highlighted as it is with a picture of Zee and Tee in their sailboat (at least that's what it looks like to my fertile imagination).

That is indeed a delightful name. I really enjoyed this story of the stubborn Zee and Tee. A cautionary tale of what happens if people cannot agree on a plan of action. When a stalemate such as this exists, nothing gets done.

A child's imagination is such a fertile ground for new adventures. And this poem captures such an adventure so beautifully. It sounds to me like you never lost yours. Congratulations. That is a perfect state of mind to maintain.

Well written as always, Brooke. Enjoyed your story in a poem with its rhyme and short lines. You are gifted with this type of poetry. It simply comes so naturally to you it appears. I am wishing you best wishes in the Share A Story in A Poem contest. This will make for a fine entry.

Hi Brooke,

Good story, any ship with two captains is going to be in trouble. To many ordersd and counter-orders and the reef beckons ...

Well done.

great story poem Brooke. A thing I caught though is that in 2 place Tobias is call TEE - in 1 place you just have T. Great way to nickname both of them so they both can have either an even syllable count or an odd syllable count:)

Zerubbabel sounds like 'Bielzibub' (?spelling) to me, Brooke, and Bielzibub alliterates better with 'Baxter'. :-)

Did the 'sea's' friends call it, 'C'? LOL.

It's a shame 'Tee' and 'Zee' were too busy arguing to set sail and be swallowed by 'MD' (rhymes with 'Zee' and 'Tee') 'MOBY DICK', in those old days.

Great fun story in a poem.

Loved it!

Cheers, Ray xx

Thank you for your feedback, Ray. I only associate Beelzebub with the Devil. It's hard for me to imagine anyone else in the world having that name. :-) Brooke

What a story you have shared, it has a parable hidden in it. I loved the name and do not remember ever seeing it. I enjoyed your story very much, Brooke, and today have learned something new. Blessings and good luck in the contest.
