You've made very good use of Zerubbabel's name, Brooke. What a darling story/poem this is; and, of course, the cute picture just adds to the delight of the story. I believe you've written another well-rhymed poem that would be fun to put in a children's book.

I loved this poetic tale of two sailors so stubborn that their ship never left port and just rotted away. Their disagreement over which way to sail doomed any action at all. Sounds a bit like our present congress, don't you think?
I liked the rhyme, cadence and flow. This is wonderful story in a poem for children and should be a winner in the contest, Love and Irish Hugs for great entertainment.

An enchanting take on this biblical namesake. The flight of fantasy of thiese two stubborn sailors is the plight of all who don't share the spirit of compromise - you eventually see your dreams go up in smoke or sink to the depths of despair. Well done.
