As soon as I clicked on your entry and scrolled quickly down the page to view all the images, my heart pounded a little quicker from anticipation of reading, as if I were a kid in a candy store. The wording did not disappoint as I knew it wouldn't. This entry would have been great even without the images, as the wording can stand on it's own 2 feet. The story is told with such interest and intensity to the reader. The descriptions are divine. I especially like the line "with jubilation, ecstatic gyrations, surely meant to gloat". Thank you for sharing this with me. You shouldn't have any problem in this contest.

Still, I was going to post it anyway, so I figured, why not take yet another shot at them, and post it in their contest. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

A truly great write..again Dean. I like the historical background, but even without it your message is clearly evident to the reader. There are always
consequences to actions regardless of ones belief. A truly enjoyable read.

This is a beautifully terrifying work. Man playing God is a theme that works every time. For some reason your poem makes me think of the Tower of Babel. I have always loved Frankenstein as it deals with the concept of man as the creator of life. The horrendous results could only be expected as man can create nothing but only alter mass that exists. Man cannot give or restore life. Ah but if he could. That is the glory of Frankenstein and Dracula. I loved your artwork as it beautifully highlights your theme.

This is a masterpiece and a sure winner. Even though your poem are usually long they are always attention grabbing so that never matters.

But, this one was 564 words, so that's pretty hefty for a poem. Of all the humanity and compassion that man is known to have, it all eventually distills into one thing SIN. A terrifying look at the monster who in Shelley's deepest imagination was in fact the monster in man like the monster in Jekyll and Hyde. Well done, Dean.

The sad thing is that Frankenstein's monster in Mary Shelley's book actually shows more humanity than Dr. Frankenstein himself. Sadness, joy at being loved, and sympathy for a little boy.

I like the inter rhymes used with the end rhyme. You also uses s little bit of alliteration.
