Well! Well! Well!
A fine contest entry from you Treischel...I really do not know much about Naani poetry. But from your notes, I can tell this one is a good one.

Hi, Treischel,
"Recreational Engagement" is an excellent nanni poem meeting the line- syllable requirements of the form with good figurative language and imagery (enthusiastic engagement with laid back exertion) which certainly expresses my sentiments.

The great outdoors
draws enthusiastic engagement
through recreation with
laid-back exertion
Great little write. I never rode one of them bikes either they look uncomfortable, or I'm just not talented enough to ride one. Great read thank you for sharing.

Thank you Angel. Probably would take a bit to get used to it.

This was an effective portrayal of enthusiastic engagement with laid back 'exhaustion!' The person (I could not tell whether male or female) your picture depicts looks tired, probably too much 'enthusiastic engagement." Well done, Tom.

I enjoyed your addition of internal rhyme to this Naani. I like the way your photographed literally paralleled the "laid-back exertion". Enjoy the remains of Sunday- Joan

Thank you Joan. Yeah, he almost looked like he was laying in the grass.

No finer method to spend a lazy summer afternoon than in the quiet company of meadows;
"laid-back exertion"--many simple ways to relax--another fine form of recreation, particularly to the outdoor enthusiast.
Tom, I believe that's you in the photo--yes, you look extremely at ease!

It couldn't be you on the cycle, you took the photo. They really are strange bikes aren't they. Lovely Naani, Tom, I love the funny pun about the bike! Good luck in the contest. xsx Sandra

Yep, you remain one prolific writer. What happened on the 19th? It must be fun to come up with all these ditties. I'm still appalled that you haven't won any contests, or have you?
