I think so many people could relate to what you have written here. Particularly coming out of a 'career' and into retirement. It very much reminded me of my husband's first year after leaving management in the emergency services and being a fireman for 40 years. I think you articulated your story very well. It was descriptive without being wordy. Lovely read :-)
