Sometimes all the dirt doesn't come out of the family wash. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read.

"Witko Moon" This is another excellent chapter in your ongoing saga; 'Along The Jericho Road.' I have been following this story for quite a while now. With time constraints I hope I have not missed too much. Well done.

They are both determined to get to Pearce first, but for different reason. That was quite a tense situation that you described very well. Another very well written chapter. I didn't spot any errors.

this is very well written, writingfundimension, you did an excellent job writing this chapter where the gaps in rick's story leads jana to suspect that rick is the traitor.

Another excellent chapter, Bev. Tuning into this story about a year ago, I have not had lots of exposure to Matthew Buell. He doesn't seem to be that bad of a guy. Am I reading that incorrectly? You can understand he wants justice and even revenge. But at least he tried to help at the accident scene.

You've thickened the plot very nicely too. I was shocked by Rick Morales. All these different people are converging, making for one hell of a climax to this story.

You are the mistress of suspense, Bev; a natural with this type of genre. Poor Father Brian. I can't believe the inner strength he will need for the upcoming battle with the devil. Makes me shudder!

Hi, Marietta. Thanks for the grand review! I agree with you -- Matthew is very human in his need to see that his father's death is vindicated. The department mole is another one of those loose ends that needed 'cleaning up'. I've written Rick to be a nice guy too, just overly jealous and, as it will be revealed, in over his head.

Much appreciate your generosity and encouragement, my friend.

"Rick," Jana asked, "how'd you know I needed help?" [And, more to the point, where did he come from? I thought there were only the four of them, and it seems as though someone would have seen his approach.]

This has a certain authenticity to it in the way they do police-speak over the phone. This of course is due to your experience as a writer, Bev.

I just have problems with Rick's sudden appearance.

Good chapter.

Thanks so much, Jay. Remember they were down off the road and involved in an altercation. And Rick had good reason to arrive without a fuss. Still, I'll take a look and see if that can be clarified. :) Bev

Your wish for a six is enough for me, Dawn. I know what you mean about them... I run out very quickly, too. Just knowing you enjoyed this chapter is enough for me. Thank you so much for the support and encouragement, my dear friend.

The tension is building up in this one, especially now that Jana has some doubts about Rick and his statement to her. It will be interesting to see what happens with Tony.

No person how strong morals one has, during had times they can be shaken up really bad. People with supposedly high moral ground can also commit mistakes sometimes. Enjoyed it much.

This is great, and such an unusual story. The patrol car that Jana is driving appears to levitate and winds up in a field, and a sword appears in the sky. Matthew goes to assist Jana, but he is mostly obstructive. His story is that Jana was driving too fast. Father Brian appears to be uninjured. Jana wants to use Matthew's car, but that doesn't go over well either. All the complications help make the story exciting. They know Tony's at the hunting lodge. Interesting detail about FBI having jurisdiction over crimes on a reservation. Another complication is that Jana is beginning to believe Rick might be the traitor in the department. A lot of issues to sort through. Definitely 6 star entertainment. judi
