Well done. You did it. I didn't see this prompt even though I feel responsible for your itchy fingers which penned this. I like the clever idea of taking the lot (well the ones that fitted) and poring them into a poem about phobias. You've captured your phobias in a unique and effective format, tumbling words and short, rhyming lists of scary shit. To tell you truth, my hand has been itching the whole time I've been writing this. I'm disappointed that more haven't responded to this prompt, especially me. I think they're all frightened.

I think they were too, Mark, and I thought more would respond also. It was a lot of fun for me to write about what scares us all the most, although I'm getting my ass handed to me in this contest at the moment, LOL. You'd think I'd be an expert on the subject by now, wouldn't you?
Thanks for the review, my friend. I truly appreciate it!

Fears can certainly be their own kind of horror. There is fear-based politics, fear of the unknown, fear of rejection, and as you point out, fear of phobias. Fear takes on many forms. You, as usual, did a superb job with this prompt. Loved the subtle background sound. I hope you do well in the contest.

Well, I appreciate the sentiment very much, Green Lake Girl, but right now, it is not doing very well. The day is still young, however, and so are we...
Thanks for the kind and encouraging review.

Yes, we must cling to our youth. Just placed my vote for this piece. I was afraid NOT to! (You changed the appearance?)

Yes, I felt black and white (devoid of all color) was best to convey a fear of fears, LOL. The other picture didn't seem to be working, and some said the creepy music was a bit too much.
I really appreciate you support!

There is nothing to fear but fear itself. There is not truer words spoken. Some can not face their fears. It keeps them from making major decisions they need to lead a full life. Great work.

Only you can dive so deep:The fear of phobias is known as phobophobia. People with this phobia are actually afraid of developing a phobia
Best of luck in the contest Dean Kuch
