This instantly reminded me of my dog, Bruno. He's more my girlfriend's dog really, since she decided to get him, against my wishes, while I was in school in Toronto and she was living in Quebec. Anyways, long story short, I know that face well. That face says, "I did something wrong, but hey, I'm cute, so you're going to have to deal." Great work, thanks for sharing.

Very nice spin on this three/five/three contest. I usually don't like animal poems, but this one made me think. I'm assuming the dog is the one doing the loving? Most real love is unconditional, but also so rare. Nice job on this one.

It is easy to get mad at a dog, but hard to stay mad at one. I liked the confession feeling in this. Great 3/5/3. Very poignant. Good luck in the contest.
