Wow, this is excellent. You have picked up perfectly from the previous chapter. Your visuals and dialogue are wonderful and brought me into the police office. You showed Ron's discomfort trying to explain what happened at the hospital so well. You've done an amazing job with Father Northrup and continued building the suspense. The last sentence is unexpected and such a great cliff hanger. Another excellent chapter in an excellent book!!!!

Oh WOW my friend what a chapter. I admire sheriff Oleson, funny thing I have the same last name as him! Norwegian I assume. I'm glad he wants to investigate who committed such murder. he's doing his job.
Now I'm so curious what the priest has to say, I don't think it's a confession, but on the other hand it might be, I wonder if in a case like this when an innocent man might be charged for a crime the priest is allowed to tell about a confession.
I will be waiting anxiously for the next chapter.

Even I know she was murdered. What is wrong with that corner. I am not at all happy. Maybe the tox screens with come back, soon. This is not at all okay. I am so enjoying this story. Great job.

Your chapters could never be too long for me, Bev! Another excellent write here. You do an excellent job with your characters. Each and everyone of them are believable and understandable. The action in this chapter is both fast and slow creating the perfect amount of suspense. Extremely well done!
