Interesting thought: To be the assailant unable to escape one's own foulness left permanent scars on the heart.
What a wild and wooly adventure. Reminds me a little of the line in Conair by Cage, "Any other day that might seem unusual" - the flying Corvair. LOL. Solid dialogue. :0 GracieAnn

That poem is damn good, an amoeba climbing to the heights but still just as small- really smaller by thinking looking down makes it any bigger. Kind-of puts things in perspective. Please, don't crank up the action making this more of an espionage thriller than a traditional detective story. The best sequences are those between the bard and Tenyaya.

This was an interesting chapter, lots of action. Could the detectives set a trap for the Chief and his accomplices to walk into? Maybe, on the pretext that someone knows they are in on the crime and is out to blackmail them. I am sure you will come up with better ideas yourself. Great write as always. Faye

This read "professional" to me. I think I could go to any bookstore and find this, and it would be a hit. Its action-packed, humorous, reminiscent for us Boomers, and just mysterious and obtuse enough to keep everybody interested. Very nice job. I love the story. The Bard got away with his friend.. The lady detectives know they have escaped. Winston will be sending his men after them. It is a matter of who gets there first. Great work.
