All I can say is bravo!! Magnifico!! The heroic sonnet style is not for me but it has my respect. I for one know what it's like to write long historical poems and my hats off to the poet who has carried the story forward well by repeating the last line of each verse as the first line of the next. A tale of religious persecution of scientists who disagreed to their peril with established Catholic dogma of the day. Long and tedious to those who have no interest in history becomes the opposite to one who does love history such as myself.

Thank you Stephen. I really appreciate the review and the kudos. There are some line not quite right yet, but I know that you for one understand the research and effort that went into this.

Dear Tom: Yes indeed I do...hours and hours. I for one was tempted to enter the contest but I guess discretion was the better part of valor.Wonderful effort. All the best in the contest. Just posted 'Goldilocks'. Thanks.
With great respect: Steve C
