Is it fiction? Well if not, do send it to the teacher--easy to find these days. We rarely say thank you any more and gratitude and knowing how a person inspired someone--finding out how a person's gesture or influence directed a life, is a gift that truly is priceless.

If it is fiction, good for you, you made me believe the sincerity of the writer sending accolades to a teacher.

I must confess that this letter has more than a grain of non fiction. A letter, similar to this, was written by a former pupil to a teacher who herself had expressed gratitude to her science teacher. Thank you for your thoughtful comments.
