And I thought your horror poems were scary.
The fate of humankind is almost too frightening to contemplate and I
For one fear for future generations.
I was spooked by the prophesies already unfolding and hold dread for all mankind.
Once again Dean, I'll not sleep easy tonight.

Thanks, seken58, and I agree with you one-hundred percent. The fate of our nation, and the world, is teetering on the precipice. It's up to each and every one of us, as individuals, to stand up for what we believe in, and political correctness be damned!

    Thanks for your outstanding review!

Great photo of the blood moon in all its glorious colour. It sounds like as you pondered the fate of your nation it didn't come up roses.I like this Picta Poem, it is very dramatic and of course your setting adds to that drama. A good read.

Some call it Armageddon where fertile valleys fill with blood... That section doesn't need a comma. Other than that, I don't see anything to change. Nice one.

Isn't it weird when we see something a bit odd or beautiful and have to immediately ponder life and all it's wonders?
This picta poem was truly genius. I loved the pictures and the font you choose. It depicted exactly what you were trying to say in the poem, beautifully.
I'm quite taken with the theme of Armageddon, I don't know why, but it is a fascinating part of the bible. You did a great job putting those thoughts out there for us.
Thanks for posting and great job, my friend.

Thanks a bunch for such an outstanding review, T.J. And you're absolutely right, as I took the photo that night, I immediately thought of my favorite chapter in the New testament, the Book of Revelations. I too have always been fascinated by it.

Thanks so much again, my friend.

The entire book of Revelations is a mystery to me. I struggle with those scriptures. You did a very interesting job writing this poem.

Thanks very much, Barbara. It is, to me, the most intriguing book in the entire Bible.

I really like the depth of your spiritual poem Dean. Just as it was prophesied for the Messiah to come, so will come the prophesy of the Revelation. Maybe I'll be gone before then and maybe I won't. You took a wonderful photo of the blood moon.

Very expressive and thought provoking poem. I am impressed by that photograph as well as your outstanding composition that includes scripture while observing an exceptional phenomenon. Use of parallel rhyming within you 14 syllable lines gives a punch to the overall cadence. Outstanding!

Thanks so much for your awesome review, Tom. Reviews such as this inspire me to keep reaching higher, and trying harder each time I attempt to put pen to paper, or, in this case, fingers to keypad.

    Thanks so much, my friend!

Dean, that is an incredible poem. You can't help but shiver because it really is getting I don't think it will happen in our life time, but I fear for our grandchildren and theirs. Your closing words from Revelation was a powerful finish to your first class poem. xsx sandra

Alas it is a broken world where demons lay their eggs in unsuspecting nymphs of lust for this world. We wrestle not against flesh and blood. Powerful words. You skillfully connected that life is in the blood. Yet our ultimate triumph is from above...

I watched the same blood moon eclipse. Stayed up most of the night, but it was worth it. I even woke my granddaughter up so she could watch with me. Thanks for sharing another great poem. The picture was amazing.
