This was a very nice piece. I love this kind of poem it almost feels like a chant or an incantation. Thank you for sharing it on the site. Very well done.

Cute poem... Frame it with the picture and give it to your grandson.

I might have switched verses 1 & 3 around.

Good luck with your writing.

Interesting poem. I bet your grandson liked the atmosphere. Mine does. There are places out west where foot prints are in stone. Thanks for sharing. Shalom.

Dear Tom - a great expressive work on this outing - strong imagery, I especially like that you caught the awe of its size - I remember my son just having this shell shock on how big they truly were....you managed to capture that well I think. Great job and thanks for sharing it.

I like how you make the trinet poem so easy to read and so exciting making the historic dinosaur a welcoming creatures of the pass as today's vivid imagination to perectly displayed by the photo.

Dinosaurs became extinct through their stupidity in killing each other in useless fights. Perhaps, if men continue their power struggles, wars and developing their fancy nuclear weaponry, in a hundred years another genus of being may see humans in the same light as dinosaurs. Food for thought. Well done.

Thank you for sharing the Minneapolis Center and its dinosaurs with us. Your addition of rhymes to the trinet are impressive. It is visually very appealing. Cheers- Joan

Accurate.
Ddinosaurs are quite impressive creatures with so much yet to be discovered about them
The tercet style has captured and presented the world of the dinosaurs to perfection.

Thank you Shirley. My brother just got back from Austrailia. He said it was very dry there, especially compared to New Zealand. I told him that that's what you had told me, except for your recent floods.
