This poem hits me deep, because I've been going through a really stressful point in my life where only God can fix my problems. I must not let stress ruin me, but let God do what he needs to do. Thank you for sharing this with us. ~ Rose

Aw thank you Silent1Rose! I'm glad you received the message that God wants all His children to know. We must love thy neighbor as ourselves by helping someone when we get the opportunity to do so. It pleases God when we obey His holy word. So sorry to hear you've been going through difficult times, haven't we all at some point are another, "Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest". God said to bring Him all your burdens and He'll fix it in His own way and in his own time! He's able! He gave his instructions in His commandments, happy are those who abide by His teachings. Again thank you for such a wonderful comment! Keep your chin up Rose! God is already working it out for you! Wishing you many blessings! ;)

What beautiful words of wisdom, and so true. There are so many who are weary and need God's grace more than ever. Even the smallest act of kindness can mean so much as is shown in your illustration. Very well written 5-7-5.

It pleases God when we have an opportunity to help someone, then we should help them. We shouldn't have as many people walking the streets hungry or in homeless shelters when we can just lend a helping hand. He said, "We should love our neighbors just as ourselves. If only more people would take heed! Thank you Karen B! I really do appreciate your warm and friendly review! May God bless you!

Is it not? God's grace is truly endless and His mercy is ever enduring. A wonderful and timeless message. We CAN do all things through Christ whom gives us strength. Lovely!

I love talking to God when I am alone and kitty is sleeping. I thank Him for her and ask for blessings for him family. I give thanks for both the simple and the profound. I also love to joke with Him, suggesting for example that a wrong Bingo call was meant for a nice old lady in Milewaukee.

:) Having a good relationship with our Heaven Father is comforting and assuring. We can talk to Him about anything, of course, He already knows what each of us stand in need of...He created all us, this world and everything in it belongs to Him. And most of all what pleases Him is our obedience to His Holy word. Remembering the ten commandments and loving thy God with everything that we are. Acknowledge Him in everything that we do by giving Him the thanks and praise! Love thy neighbor as thy self meaning, if we have an opportunity to help someone then we should do this. This is pleasing to God.

Many thanks GracieAnn! We are so near one another! East Texas so beautiful, I reside just outside of Tyler, Texas! I'm thinking about posting a couple of my religious ebooks and I'm trying to decide if I'd like to try a subscription for one month or one week. :) Thanks again for your wonderful review my neighboring friend!

This is a quiet piece with so much clarity. The simplicity in word choice gives the message a stronger current. And of course the characters have a universality that crosses gender, race, and cultural lines. Very good poem.

A very good thought provoking message. It is easy to read and understand. As far as I can tell it follows correctly the required poetic form. Good luck in the contest!
