Ah yes, the goddess Styx Herself watching, and Charon, ever ready to accept a pittance to pole his ferry 'cross the five rivers of Hades to the gates of Erebus. Dark and spooky Pretty Lady.

This was an excellent writ. "When despair strikes, emotions run wild. So easy then, to capture a soul to accompany the eyes." A poem about a women predator in search of prey. It seems interesting, and dark. However, it also seems a little bitter. Though, seeming a little angry, this piece was superb work. I found it well expressed, and intense to read. Very well done.

picture is cool as, well, hell, you know what I mean

great rhythm, this:

Reddened from sadness,
blurred with grief,
death comes slinking
in the night like a thief.

very easy to read, first to last

Who, I wonder, is the owner of such dark eyes? It seems sometimes that there is more than one pair, and they cause despair, seem to delight in it - that's what I get from this exquisite poem, Gungalo (and it is exquisite in its marvelous imagery and flow...)

They feed on the emotions to taste them as they have none of their own, their cold soul, just a void in that abyss, cold and unmoved by the swirling emotion of the world, waiting for that weary traveller to succumb to the illusion of this Styx siren offers in sanctuary. Falter here and be lost forever... excellent story poem with riveting wordplay.

Gather the faithless,
the forlorn and the weak,
bring them around
by the creek.
Bid them to jump into
the River Styx,
stand there, use every trick.

Oh dear, Pam - they'll be such a crowd turning up if the faithless, the forlorn and the weak come along ---

this is written on your dark side, my friend.

Ooh - so cold! So cruelly, patiently inevitable - those eyes!

There's really nothing
for them to see, only ...
to hope for a tragedy. .. shudder!

Gave me chills, Pam dear .. sigh!

This is a very well written poem with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. One can be puzzled over the time that they will take their last ride.

the River Styxx (Spelling Styx)

Those eyes watching from the underworld beyond the River Styx send a pretty scary message. They do wait, and perhaps will do so for an eternity.

I like when you venture into this type of Free Verse. An interesting read, for sure.
Rose.
