Hey Mikey, I'm trying to keep up but that is a good thing. I have learned, when reading novels it is best to read every day so I want be in the dark. People forget, especially, if they bookcase something and go to it later. they forget what happened and you must play tutor and remind them and some question your work but is out of their own ignorance why they are confounded and not! because the post needs work. You leave some things for us, have us in suspense but that is what I do, I want to make the readers focus on the details and make them connect the dots. Not to be made easy, like a conventional novel. I like your approach, your way of thinking, leaving us hanging, craving for more, that is one secret and you found that aspect. It's easy to criticize but if writing a novel is so darn easy why aren't they are doing it? It doesn't harm me when they slap my hand because of some Mickey Mouse SPAG taught in school. Now, to this chapter which is entertaining me and I will read it religously, out of respect, so you don't have to correct me because I was tardy reading and you must explain. This is superior in form and holds me interest exceptionally. It is an entertaining novel, i want action and lots of it and you do--satisfy me--you are not boring. Gezz, if it only was about SPAG, i WOULD PURCHASE a Websters or encylopedias and recluse in a library. But writing is so--much more than that, it is a life you are willing to donate your blood, sweat and tears, sacrificing everything else for your cause. You are a novel crusader and the 'Brogue,' and genious mastermind in the making. I salute you---on your accomplishments,it's much harder to write than to review, not to be disrespectful. If you look hard enough, you can see a fleas on a Bluetick hound. You satisfy me and I love your plot and drive, i'm a happy camper, never change who you are--the roots is what make you different and unique, they want strip me of that. Sensational read, marvelous job! wackydo

Good chapter, but I want to see inside the bunker. What fun!
The pressure [most=MUST] of neutralized or been cushioned by the water.
Faults that cause earthquakes run deep into the earth thru the mantle. No amount of surface water could possibly affect that. So she's not as brilliant as Johnny thinks. :)

I think it is a surprise actually that the San Andreas fault hasn't dropped half of California into the ocean. That is the prediction even without the other stuff. If the ice caps melted the shape of the earth would change also getting wider in the middle. But, I think the lady just knows a lot of facts, but isn't a scientist. I've been asking some military folks what might be found in a bunker like that. Hahaha. What a shock, huh? Researching first!! mikey

I don't understand how it all fits together yet, but I think it's very well-written, with just the right combination of dialogue, action and "telling." Just reading this one chapter, I'm confused about the plot, but I have faith, given what's gone before, that you either have a plan or will come up with one. My only suggestion would be that you keep it at exactly this level of believability. Up to this point in the story, everything is believable, which is what makes it a great read.

You have taken your time with certain aspects of the story. The dream projections especially have developed in a way that is credible. It could have become a good sci fi story. You have managed to keep it in the realm of rreality. Excellent!!! NG

I liked this chapter very much. I love how caught us off guard by the sudden attack. I found a few minor nits...nothing big:
It isn't even either...this sentence is missing something....
global warming talk or whatever it was had my mind spinning...add comma between 'was' and 'had'...

It is a good think they found the bunker. It looks like they lost their fort at least temporarily. They are starting on refining their Esp. They have to start fighting back.

I have never heard the theory about the secret national bunkers in the parks. Interesting.Are there any medical professionals in the group to balance all this gun and archery shootings? I can't remember if that had been addressed before. When the baby is born, one might come in handy. Any other twosomes mating up? It seems that the human primitive need to save the species will lead to procreation. Again, please keep us grounded as to how time is passing, is it days, weeks, months? Good explaining some of those questions.

There is one nurse and I will find some more medical personel. I know, timeline! I really have to sit down and figure that out. No more than two months I think. I'll have to figure it out. Linda and Nikolai are an item. Jen and Carlos, but Jen isn't too happy with him lately. Who would you like to see find a little romance? mikey
