Short but all so deeply immersed in emotional prayerful
purging reaching directionally for some one you were close
to but time and preoccupation separated you two but a short moment in time but nonetheless long enough for your entire
being to become both physically and spiritually sick which
causes an immediate awareness of the straight away need to rekindle the deep friendship between the two as you so nicely expressed it an old cathartic friend....Well done

Just as you have bounced back so will your muse .
Writing definitely is cathartic but our muses seem to be temperament at times.

The catharsis of writing is a great curative. May the ink flow through your pen more strongly as time goes on. Sorry to hear you have not been well. Ye ole writing bug is a better illness than most. Painful at times though.
