Very cute, Ine. It's lambing time in England right now, and I do miss seeing the little things running around the fields.

I think a child would enjoy this poem. I like the picture - goes perfectly with your reference to 'white feet'.

The pictures most gratifying it fits your poem very well I really like the ghostly appearance of the sheep as though in a dream. Your poems euphonic nature or soft-spoken feeling and emotion is something to slumber by. Excellent handling of vocabulary for a child's reading enjoyment. The rhythm would appeal, also. There's the association with counting sheep to go to sleep, also. It has a soothing, lullaby-like quality to it. I like the black and white artwork. judi
