LMAO, Mikey - that's telling this pompous coward straight!
I agree with EVERY word you say - it's so easy to be a smart-arse from behind the protection of a keyboard.
On the point of leaving comments in the booth - I dunno if I'm being my often cynical self, but I sometimes wonder, when a voter says something like, 'it was a tough decision between this and 'John Doe', if THEY actually entered 'John Doe' and are sneakily praising their OWN rubbish. :-).
I rarely review prose, but this one held my attention.
Shit - I must get out more. :-)

The photo compliments the piece well. I really enjoyed reading this piece because although I am a Christian, I'm still learning how to deal with the coward thing. You know, people throwing stones and hiding their hands. I feel you on this one my brother. Good work.

It's great top see you in action here Mikey. You've taken to this anonymous critic with just anger. Anonymous critics are a cut lower than an arrogant one who own up to their supposed superiority. I believe we need to be respectful even in giving quite strident criticism. FS would not be the vibrant writer's community if it was all compliments and sweet words, but it's at its best when people go about the critiquing with a sense of due respect for the wide variety of individuals who post here. Keep at it.

I was appalled by the arrogance and cowardice displayed by The Anonymous Fanstory Assassin (great name by the way!) and I do hope that they read your piece and see the error of their ways or at least grow some balls and admit ownership of such rudeness. An apology would not go amiss either LOL!

There are so many good people here at Fanstory and I met some of them. They generously and unselfishly speaks their mind in the proper way: correcting my grammar, adding insights, all criticisms are constructive and I can say - I'm growing as a writer.
I got some nasty reviews too but I never mind them. I keep thinking it's for my own good. But even if I'll be the best writer of Fanstory, I have no reason to boast for it because my talent is not solely mine - it's God's.

I agree with you, Mikey, that's a very snarky comment, and if it truly came from someone who never posts, it makes it all the worse. Anonymity brings out the worst in some people. We all want to be told the truth, but we also deserve courtesy.
Words like 'crass' and 'offensive' are subjective and amount to a form of censorship.
