I guess a large group of people from such varying backgrounds are going to be at loggerheads and also become rather depraved. Interesting introduction of the living dead! I don't know much about zombies, but I am sure you will make it interesting! Good characterisations and narrative. Faye

I love the story. The group is reverting. They are attacking instead of welcoming. It needs to be channeled in to real protecting. Insane paranoid vision can take over the sane as well as the insane. The group is letting their leader come to the top. The leaders need to take action to have the group become a cohesive unit. Great work.

This was a joy to read, mikey. I love the fact that there are 2 in the group whom the narrator has connected with. I share the same sense of humor so I enjoy their exchanges. Black humor is good especially in a story like this. Great job.

Not being face3d with possible death I found the berating of Joe difficult. At the same time, I understand the fear and reason for wanting him gone. YOu are doing a great job covering all the emotions that a person would experience in a situation like this. Absolutely terrifying to say the least.

This is going to be such an excellent book if you continue like this. First you go over everybody individually now. The Joe re-appears from being dead, looking very strange.

Very much looking forward to hearing Joe's story myself. Like the way that you're breaking the people into groups of different mentalities, adding additional difficulties of lack of meds, which would be an issue in reality.

Great chapter. Once again you are drawing the stronger elements of the group together, while I creasing the tension through fear if the unknown. I was quite frankly shocked that after nearly beating joe to death, no apology was offered. This, to me, speaks on several levels. First, the group's paranoia is at an all time high for this to happen. Second, the core group is becoming tighter knit, less accepting of outsiders. Third, the group is developing a pack mentality. They are already thinking about weeding out the weak members. They are becoming less human and more feral. I think it is only a matter of time until one of the group commits murder. I'll be reading. Good job.

It appears the whole lot is on the verge of survival insanity. I'm curious what Joe's story will be. I would suggest you give some reference to how they are eating, what they are eating, How they are sleeping and staying warm. Do they take turns on watch duty at night? Are they attempting to build a shelter? those kind of things. It will make it even more real for the reader. Soon there will be enough to start a mini society.

Yes, good points. I know that they have camping stuff and that they traveled there to some kind of pre-arranged accommodations. But, I do need to be specific because they will start running out at some point. The meds will run out before the food though.

I finally got caught up in reviews. I'm insanely behind in responses. I am just going backwards. Most recent first. At least my followers will know I'm reading my reviews, which I always do. But, I know that I would want a review first before a response. mikey
