Same suggestion as before. Start us off with something that grabs the reader and also introduces the characters so we care about them immediately. Since Jennifer is pregnant, and this is about a disaster, this should be fairly easy to do.

I was unable to follow the last one really well because of work conflicts. . .maybe this one I can jump on board and stay for the ride
