An awesome story Sandra!! Those who would find the elves have a forever something to share.

The three friends all promised. "We would never tell anyone. We truly promise you that, not even our best friends!"

I so enjoy your children's writing, even tho I've never had kids & I never read this genre. I wasn't reading it, imagining how it would come across to kids -- I'm just enjoying it as a big person! *smile* I love the part where "elves" are first being discussed. All the realistic nuances of that conversation are delightful. I also love the "look-alike" part, which I did envision as a message to children for a bit. Great job & thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much, barleygirl, for another lovely review. We all have a little child inside us! Mine has been inside me a bit longer than most! LOL. xsx Sandra.

Great children story with the storyline and characres well developed. The story is interesting and the picture depicts the theme of the story.

This is a very sweet tale and I can tell would be very popular with children. Talking animals, especially forest creatures who have adventures in the forest has universal appeal. Maybe you intended it to be "peep" but did wonder if what you might have intended to write (but was a typo?) in the line "I'm going to go as close as I can to have a quick - peek instead here? Just wondered. Minor thing. Cute story.

Thank you so much for your lovely and most thoughtful review. I did intend it to be, peep, but after reading what you said, I thought I decided change it as it would then be more in line with peek-a-boo! Thank you! :) Sandra xsx
