I have this extraordinary inclination to read and watch about suspense - thriller although I don't like to watch about vampires. I don't like to see blood-sucking perverts.

A delightfully disgusting poem, here Dean. Just the way you like them! :D You do a stellar job with imagery. The "bad guy" has such a spectacular end, but, of course, he had it comin'. The last four lines are my favorites. I chuckled at the phrase, "knotted skein". I am a knitter and have had many a fight with knotted skeins. Not for the faint of heart.

This was awesome. You brought in the double creep factor. Jack the ripper gets haunted by one of his victims. Who wouldn't get scared by that. I like that in your author's notes, you tell about the last victim's corpse vanishing. Not only was I chilled by the poem, I also learned something in the notes. Greta job.

There has been so much research that I think this is one of the most widely discussed unsolved crimes. Can't tell you how many times hubby and me have watched shows about the infamous Jack the Ripper. Love the music, and the story. Thanks so much for sharing.
