I don't think I reviewed this one before....a matching bookend to your unique "metaphysical hallmark cards" - I call this "the drunk oldtime religion preacher giving a hell and damnation sermon on new age metaphysics" You very well could have a worldwide flock with your "slowly drawing them in" deliberately drawn out detailed "building" of words that more accurately photograph the subject than if it were presented in the flesh. You are the 2nd Master of description of idea/object....Indeed his inheritor

Fear manifests all forms of blindness and celebrates the loss of light and the incubation of the soul?s fetus hibernating in the dark caves of life?s decay.
Oh my God Vance, as if you read through my soul with this poem, I came home 2 days ago, and I am so afraid to be unable to live fearless until December when I go back to my boys. Whoa Vance, you are amazing, your doctrine is beyond the stars, I will enjoy so so much reading through you, as I do need you, I will get my strength through reading your book, a book which all the world must read. In my opinion, "Fear tried to whisper to me" is good free style poetry with excellent figurative language and imagery (imaginary enemy that lives in shadows. I has a noble message. It fails to meet requirement of having a good unconventional structure. To me it is undifferentiated prose with no actual structure except possibly sentences. I could not discern a flow. There is some internal rhyme which is good . To me it could be improved by white space separating actual lines based on meaning. To me poetry should be pleasing to the eye as well as the ear.

"FREE VERSE" this is noted as this style so it I purposely NOT INTENDED TO RHYME. His Grayness
