It is more than Puppy Love Sweetie. That love from our pets is genuine and no matter how we scold them, they forgive us.
With every gesture he possessed
My pup sent love to me
And I reciprocated back
With hugs, the same degree
Love isn't just a human thing
It reaches far and wide
And it is found within our pets
When they have loving guides
I love this my sweetest friend

This is a fabulous poem my friend, I truly know that nobody love with total unconditional love as a dog, he live his life observing you constantly and would give his life for you. Your words are very poetic and very true.

This is a very lovely poem with a most perfect picture too. I did enjoy reading it and it is so true. Reading it up lifted my day. What is Far? If you don't mind my asking?
I think we were given animals when no one understands us. I have a Cat and he is so mean when he knows I need him to notice me. He seems to know my pain before anyone else does.

As soon as I saw your title I knew I had to read as I too am such an animal lover. I just posted a poem yesterday (same day I joined FS) on this very same topic - the immensely gratifying love and bonded connection true dog lover owners have with their fur children as I like to think of mine as. I invite you to read it as we are kindred spirits on this topic! Your poem really captures the sentiment of how strong the love can be between people and their pets, dogs in particular. I especially liked the stanza "love isn't just a human thing/it reaches far and wide/and it is found within our pets/when they have loving guides. So true!! The love you give is the love you get in equal measure! The puppy mail line made me smile. : ))

Thank you SO much for your marvelous six star review. I'm thrilled you enjoyed my poem So much! There are all kinds of love in the world and the one we have with our pets is very special. I thought it would be a touching subject to write about.
