Hi Carolyn, Thank you for stopping by to read something of mine I am honored and appreciate the wonderful review. Thank you! AS for bring on both sites it is hard. Last year I only posted three poems here. I'm trying to spread my time out between the sites this year. I never feel like I have enough money on either site to promote my work . The thing is, I love doing both so I just go where my heart leads me. When I'm here I do reviews, replies and post work. The same is true for the other site. There are always gaps on both sites when I'm not there, but when you love writing, photography and Mixed media as much as I do, you make it work for you somehow! Hope this in some way a bit of help. :o) Helvi

I Love cats too! My brother and his wife had seven at one time. THey bought a mom and ALL her kittens. All of their names began with T. Tomato and Trouble were two of my favorites.
I have cat poems in my portfolio. Catnip Wars is one of them.

What a beautiful poem! You said it right! Love isn't just a human thing. Our pets give us a very pure and beautiful form of love. A couple of weeks ago, my daughter's dog had a litter of puppies and after a few days the runt of the litter began to fade... wouldn't nurse and was pushed aside so the job fell to me to see if I could bring it through... feeding it first with an eye dropper every few hours. It's 3 weeks old now and is actually drinking an ounce or so of milk every four hours from a bottle and is surviving nicely but it was really touch and go there for awhile!!! So you can see why your lovely poem touched my heart so much. Little "Lucky Penny" was my valentine this year. Apologies for being all out of sixes. Warm regards, Aggie (W ^-^)

This is really sweet, Helvi, and in a wonderful form for the subject matter. The only suggestion I might have is the last line of the second stanza, which is out of meter. Possibly "If love and heart were shared", or something like that.
