A man and his car. This poem came out well. Good flow of rhythm and rhymes. Good visual imagery. Clear imagery. Nice work. Good style that I must try.

Thank you Alicia. Yes, give it a try.

You did it well. I lament that I never had a "muscle car" but I imagined myself behind the wheel and beating that cat everyone wants to beat. And maybe "hugging that bikini clad" babe at the end!
Too bad the muscle care era is pretty much a thing of the past.

Hi, Treischel,
"The Best of the Breed" is an excellent poem with "loads of rhyme" good flow and good figurative language and imagery (adrenaline's creed). The structure is visually impressive.

I am definitely impressed with this new personally devised format.
The style is so effective andshows much thought and deliberation in its construction.
Whilst not a fan of cars and speed this poem caught and held my attention and left me feeling-wow!
This poem .gains my six star approval for its inventiveness and style.

This poem makes me think of my Calibra sports car before I got married. (the first time!) The excitement was overwhelming as I drove at 130 miles per hour on the M1 in London. Thanks for the memories of youthful joyous adrenalin flowing through me, although I was 32. However, I have always been an adventurer. Well done.

Thank you rod. Do we ever grow out of it?

I am afraid the spirit is there, but we are older, and too responsible to take the dare again!

You said judges in this poem. A Pontiac Judge was a very fast car in the annuals of muscle cars. I enjoyed reading this poem that takes me back to an era of fast cars and excellent music on the radio in those cars. This was an excellent piece of poetic artistry to have read and responded to... John

Great concept of a 22&2 poem, Tom--love it!
You have once again inspired me;
I sense a keen interest in vintage automobiles--yes, we don't see the likes of them on the road anymore;
A vintage poem as we reflect on days gone by in today's technological environment--they didn't install computer systems into cars back then. These models were definitely in a class of their own--wonderful!.
