Winter's Concubine is by far the sexiest poem about a tree I have ever read. Seriously, It is a beautiful new slant of a Personification of winter, who in this sense is a domineering lover.

Winter certainly seems to be a lascivious old devil! You draw the character well. It is an interesting way of handling the personification as the fruits of his rapaciousness will be seen in the new life of Spring.

This picture is perfect for this amazing poem. I've seen a lot of snow this year and although I'm starting to find it not pretty and I just want it to go away you did a great job with this

A 'Chilling' work, showing the complete entrapment that Winter has over the world. Though we don't get much snow in Australia, apart from its Alpine regions, I have myself borne witness to the simple entrapment that winter's snow has wrought over the tress of the mountains, and the memories were brought back again with reading this work. Excellent work!

This is one of the most sensual poems about winter, I have ever read. I am amazed at how this feels. Great job, I enjoyed it so much. Blessings and good luck in the contest.

I love this fanciful "mind boggling" transference of the "erotic"
from human to nature. The wanton seduction of a "stripped bare" mistress tree! Perhaps this takes pruning to a new level! But stepping back and stepping into the arboreal "Kama Sutra", it is still an extremely well written narrative and a great literary piece! I wouldn't have reviewed it if were about human, I would have found it too confronting! Maybe taking "temptation" to another level, although i'm a bit "past it" now. Well done with this one. Cheers, Roy!

Thank you so much, Roy. I thought I would take this one as close as I could to the top without going over! Yep. If it were a human, a punch in the nose would probably be the result. Hahaha. Thank you kindly, mikey

Oh...wow...he is a cold and cruel lover. The imagery in this piece is very powerful in emphasizing that side of winter. Excellent work.
