Good end rhyming. Good perfect rhyming with dishes/wishes...melted/pelted. Good description and alliteration. Good complimentary photo followed by a clear message that contains no errors.

Travis has it right - ya gotta gather ye snowflakes while ye may. Because I tend to read several of your poems at one sitting, I love that you throw in some occasional comic relief, a la Shakespeare, amidst your weightier stuff. And you write thsi stuff every bit as well as your more serious reflections. 87th ranked poet? I think not - I've not seen anyone better on this site.

This is a wonderful poem. I can feel the little guy's pain. The tone is wonderful for the subject matter. The word choice paints a vivid picture.

Heh, heh...mothers can be so incredibly thoughtless at times, can't they? Opportunity lost. How many children could sympathise with your words, and lament the cruelty of the world! A lovely little story. Thank you.

The snow is all fun and games for children. I think they should be allowed to go out and play so long as they are properly dressed to fight the cold. I can imagine the slushy ground after the rain. That is no fun. Anyone can be sick about it.
Cheers

A great humorous poem getting into the mind of a child, and the cute way he relates to his mom. I see these antics in my own grandson.
It rhymed well and was enjoyable to read. Even though I hate the snow,

Well done, Mary

I enjoyed your home very much and with its inner limerick rhyming and exceptional imagery which was really to the forefront. Your picture complement did your poem very much and vice a versa, as the kid in your poem was written just like the child in your picture, looking for precarious. Thank you so much for sharing this with others including myself. May you have a good one and God bless.

I feel kind of bad for the kid. I will happily throw my kids out when it snows. My mother used to do it to me. Liked the visual of the woman preparing dinner and the stink eye she gives the whining kid. Nicely done.

so typical with children especially in the rules areas. Your poem sings a nice song about true feelings of a child wanting to play outside in the snow. Well done. Blessings
