OMG, I loved this so much, I know what its like to have a special teddybear and Im in my fifties! I loved your choice of art work also. Your poem reminded me of the song Coat of Many Colors by Dolly Parton. I think she even sings a Teddy Bear song. Anyway, Loved it, Kaye

I do so wish I had a six for this piece. It is so sweet and touching. I love that the little girl isn't stuck on "things" but the love of her mommy and daddy. Most kids are starving for real love as they've been given things in place of time and love. Good job. God loves you and so do I.

Dear Vance,
I loved the message in this work. So full of need and compassion that fills a child's heart with her teddy bear.
Strong emotional threads with the biggest heart of all - I loved it.
Thanks for sharing it and congrats on publication :)

Wow, I really enjoyed reading this poem. Wish I could hear it to music. To have a teddy bear for a dad is sad, but at least the child was not mad, she had something that made her glad! Nothing but praise for this exceptional poem. LorraineK

Thanks Lorraine..It was on a 45rpm record so probably won't have that gear anymore but it was actually recorded by Elvis and put in the "can" as they say for later release but he died shortly thereafter. I keep praying that some day they might dig it out and release it before I kick the can too!! Vance
