That would be good advice for all of us to follow - when it rains soar above the rain clouds - I think you may have just inspired in a poem in me TK. I enjoyed your beautiful poem.

The picture is awesome and amazing at the same time.
This is a lovely poem Sir Knight. I didn't know that about the eagle flying above the rain clouds. We see them often in Nevada. Beautiful birds. Well done. Nancy

It is so easy being a fan of yours - you say things I'm yet able to articulate. You believe as I believe. One of my favorite lines from this work and which seems to encapsulates the entire story line is this: "If you see him - then he has reached his destination."
Great job - Loren

I like the strength of clarity, the message is told in a story and conjures up the eagle as the mascot for your love. I particularly like the last lines, "...believe there is magic in the heart or you shall never believe in anything all." A well written, uplifting poem. Thank you.

I agree with you about Fairy Tales and Pixie Dust. It's that "anything can happen" belief that buoys my imagination and creativity. I didn't know that about eagles; very interesting.
This poem has lovely flow and a sweet, tender feel. Very nice!

I forgot to mention the picture. It is captivating, and goes so well with your words!

This is a truly interesting write. I loved your image of an eagle and the concept that it was an apparition or fairy. Well done. It is well written with some interesting alliterations (westerly waft).
Two minor things that you might want to think about. You use the wonderful word "Westerly" twice. Usually such an evocative word can only appear once in such a short work. Just a thought. Also - isn't heart less heartless? : You have put shapeless together. Also, I believe that any thing is one word. anything. You may want to change that. By the way - i really iike that statement - shapeless, heartless apparition

"Remember you have to believe there is magic within the heart or you shall never believe in any thing at all" - This is just such a beautiful and powerful ending to an eloquently expressed lesson everyone should learn. This piece is magic from start o finish and I thank you so much for sharing it with me.

Maybe if enough of us believe there will eventually be more of it in the world.
Comment from Jean Lutz
For me this took on spiritual meaning. Blessed is the one who looks on creation and sees the Creator. I've often wished I could be more like an eagle. The picture is awesome.
