This is a beautiful rhyming faith poem. The references to the miracles in nature is a great example why so many believe in a higher power. Even the spark of life itself is proof to me. A great poem of encouragement, like a rhyming Psalm

Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

rivers fury - an apostrophe is needed - river's
natures mission - same here - nature's

Your poem gives the reader a well-rounded look at Faith and I agree that a grateful heart is on the road to a deeper faith. Faith is what allows one to step into the uncertain future, into the complex and confusing hills, valleys, rocky terrain and see the territory as magnificent!
When I pray, I pray for an increase in faith to better learn and follow God's plan as it unfolds. Thank you for this poem, my loving and kind friend. God Bless You!

Dearest Eleanor...thank you so much for both your important edit details which I shall fix and then your words of encouragement and sharing about this tender, yet critical subject of faith. If only we could grasp the magic of "knowing" something "is' or shall be with nary a molecule of doubt, what marvelous things we could do! God Bless you dear friend and teacher... with true gratitude...Vance

Doubt has a way of rifling through the days of our lives -seems one is never free of all doubt and it's next of kin - fear. Bless you, my friend.

I love the picture. The only thing I would suggest is to put spaces between the stanzas to make for easier reading. I enjoyed reading the faith poem.

I agree entirely with the sentiment expressed in line 1-Faith is sooo complex!!How many of us on our life journey achieve TRUE FAITH- it is like gossamer - difficult to hold on to!!

Happy New Year my friend. A great start to the new year. Beautifully detailed and expertly crafted. Much to ponder and your message is right on the money. Faith is what we do and it is what we decide to do. Belief is a wonderful thing. When you have it you are not weighed down by worry. There is only moving forward. Those salmon would never get up stream if they worried about it!! Great piece. mikey

this is a brand new trick you are doing here- I see it being done before my eyes and I CAN NOT FIGURE IT OUT! THIS IS NOT JUST YOUR TALENT BEING DISPLAYED HERE-YOU ARE NOW GOING ONE STEP FURTHER(LIKE THAT'S EVEN POSSIBLE!)AND SHOWING UNBEATABLE SKILL! IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO PURPOSELY RESTRICT YOUR PERIMITERS/PERAMITERS WITH SUPERTIGHT 10/11 SYLLABLE LINES.....AND SIMULTANEOUSLY HAVE VARIED AND INTRICATE THOUGHTS EASILY POUR FORTH......AND......EVERY WORD IS UNIFIED AND RELEVANT TO THE SUBJECT! EVERY LINE IS COHESIVELY PERFECT.THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pope Francis even loves atheists, agnostics, and I wonder would he tell them, without faith you're not going to heaven? Basically the line I'm referring to is: "Even though it is the only path to heaven" Overall, it's superb writing. I'm not saying you shouldn't write this. Just stating my opinion. My favorite line: "Yet we must know that life is just one season" How true. I'm referring to reincarnation. Happy New Year! Les

LES: so great to hear from you as always. I certainly appreciate your perspectives and your kind review. To answer your opening question,I believe HEAVEN will be a state of mind as our spirit is said to be. And if we are transformed into only a spirit form then the energy of our mind would be faith and without it, perhaps our mind would simply be dark like a TV turned off. My perspective of course. Have a wonderful new year. Vance

I like that one. Energy of our mind as faith. I guess it's the way you look at it. Have a nice day! :)

nd we should trust it as today believes tomorrow
That love is GOD'S sanctuary of gratitude
And faith is manifested through that attitude

Hi Vance, Happy New Year my friend. This poem is this Years poem, whoever will read it, should believe each word you wrote, that life will remain in content through our every day of this year.
