Interesting twist to a fairy/fantasy story without the fairies-with ants. They are very industrious creatures and I guess in another world they might have been more intelligent. It is a nice twist and I loved the connection to the wisteria, very beautiful climbing plant. Nice illustration to complement your story. I found one or two errors, but very little. Well-written. I love the fable. The vines are like the tree of knowledge. I think the vine has a drug like quality to it. It gives knowledge but the ants have limited ability to use it. The vine also seems to connect two worlds. It is a good start to a book. Great work.

I love the picture and the story but I think it is a bit wordy you do love to ramble on so it flows nicely for the feature

Very interesting. I like how you have taken a very ordinary, and common occurrence, ants on a plant, and made a world of it. The message in this story was powerful, that knowledge does not come without cost, and I loved your take on dreams and wishes, and that they knew little of each other. This tale has certainly given me much to ponder. Well done.

Blessings,

I think this has potential. I would focus more on the ant' s perspective, really hone in on their world. I know that a lot of this is parable, but I really could not latch on to it. Do you mean this to be more than one chapter? Believe it or not, there is a book akin to Watership Down that focuses on Ants. Can't remember the author or title, but if I do, I will let you know.
